Udit Narayan Jha, born on 1 December, 1955 in a village called Bhardaha in the
Saptari district, Nepal, popularly
known as Udit Narayan is a playback singer in commercial Hindi, Nepali, Urdu,
Bhojpuri, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada,Oriya, Assamese, Maithili
and Bengali language cinema. Narayan has sung in 26 different languages. He has
won three National Film Awards and five Film fare Awards. In 2009, he was
awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.Udit Narayan
